No Added Sugar Dessert
When I first whipped up this creamy and delicious dessert for my kids, my eldest son Charlie exclaimed that it tasted like lollies. When the tart, sweet ice cream hit my taste buds I agreed, it reminds me of raspberry sherbet. I was really surprised how sweet this ice cream was, with no added sugar or sweeteners.
Paleo Sherbet Ice cream
In Australia we use the word Sherbet to describe a sweet powdery lolly that you eat with a spoon. It’s tart and fizzy when it hits your tongue.
It wasn’t until I was writing this blog post that I found out the word Sherbet is also used to describe a dessert that is between a sorbet and an ice cream. Which is exactly what this sweet treat is!
Quick and Easy AIP Dessert
This refreshing simple dessert contains only two ingredients and takes about 5 minutes to whip up. It’s dairy, egg, and coconut free and AIP, Paleo, Raw and Vegan compliant.
My 2 Ingredient Raspberry Ice cream recipe is so simple and forgiving. The more raspberries you add to the mix, the icier and tart it becomes. If you increase the amount of banana’s, it becomes sweeter and creamier.
